Solar Exposure
The "Solar Exposure" command in BIMO Add-in for Revit allows users to analyze sunlight exposure across selected elements, such as curtain panels or walls, in Autodesk Revit. This command aids in assessing natural lighting conditions within the model by calculating the exposure time of selected elements to sunlight.
Configuration Settings
The command settings allow users to define geographic location, sun hours, and date parameters to create accurate sunlight simulations. Set these parameters in BIMO Add-in for Revit Settings before running the command.
Latitude :

Running the Command
Click on the "Solar Exposure" command in the BIMO Add-in for Revit ribbon to calculate sunlight exposure times.

Reviewing Results
To review the results of the "Solar Exposure" analysis, configure view filters based on the designated parameter (e.g., "Comments"). Apply these filters to the view to visually represent elements with varying exposure times, aiding in interpretation and further analysis.
