Allow Joins enables wall joining at both ends of every selected Wall. It is useful when joins were previously disabled and you want Revit to reconnect the wall ends according to its normal join behavior.
Find the command in BIMO > Model > Allow Joins.
When To Use It
Restore normal wall joining after using Disallow Joins.
Re-enable joins for several walls at once.
Prepare wall intersections for further cleanup with standard Revit join controls.
Requirements
An active Revit project document is required.
The command processes Wall instances only.
You can preselect walls before launching the command or pick them after launch.
Walls in linked Revit models are not processed.
How To Use It
With Preselected Walls
Select one or more Walls in the current project.
Run BIMO > Model > Allow Joins.
BIMO enables joining at both ends of every valid selected Wall.
Other preselected element types are ignored.
Without Preselection
Run BIMO > Model > Allow Joins.
In the Revit picker, select one or more Walls.
Finish the selection.
BIMO enables joining at both ends of the selected Walls.
The picker accepts Wall instances only.
Result
For every selected Wall, BIMO calls Revit's standard join operation for end 0 and end 1. The changes are applied in one transaction named Allow Wall Joins.
The exact geometry after the command is controlled by Revit. Enabling joins allows Revit to reconnect compatible wall ends, but it does not guarantee a particular cleanup order or intersection shape.
Progress And Cancellation
For larger selections, BIMO may show a progress indicator unless progress bars are disabled in general settings. Canceling the operation rolls back the active transaction, so partially processed walls are not kept.
Warnings And Model Impact
The command modifies the model by changing the join permission at both ends of each Wall.
Existing intersection cleanup may change after joins are enabled.
Review important wall intersections after running the command.
The command does not join non-wall elements and does not use Revit's Join Geometry tool.
Settings, Presets And Variants
Allow Joins has no command-specific settings and does not provide preset variants.
Troubleshooting
