Select by Scope Box

The "Select by Scope Box" command in BIMO Tools allows users to select elements within a specified Scope Box in an Autodesk Revit project.

This command is particularly useful for isolating elements within a specific region of the model, ensuring that only the desired categories of elements are selected. It's especially handy for tasks like assigning section numbers to elements within residential buildings.

Steps for Use

    In the settings dialog, under "Categories", select the categories of elements you want to include in the selection. By default, the "Rooms" category is selected.

    You must select at least one category. You can add more categories by clicking "ADD" and remove unnecessary ones by clicking the minus symbol next to the category name.

    After configuring the categories, click "OK" to close the settings dialog. If a Scope Box is not already selected in the model, you will need to manually select it at this stage. The command will then process the selected Scope Box.

    Once the Scope Box is defined, the command will automatically highlight the elements within the selected Scope Box that belong to the specified categories.
